Purpose | To represent Maryland residential consumers of electric and natural gas utilities, telephone, and private water services before the Public Service Commission, the General Assembly, federal agencies, and other courts. |
Service | This office represents the best interests of Maryland utility customers. Through the Consumer Assistance Unit, this office provides utility information, trainings, limited individual advocacy, and conducts investigations of utility practices and consumer complaints throughout the state. |
