| Purpose | To prevent reusable materials from being landfilled and to provide a waste exchange program for local residents. |
| Service | The Northern Landfill accepts yard trimmings which include leaves, grass clippings, plants, shrubs, pruning, and tree trimmings less than 8 feet in length and 4 inches in diameter. A partnership with The Habitat for Humanity, ReStore allows county residents to bring to the landfill as well as taking direct reusable building materials rather than landfilling them. Acceptable items include reusable building materials such as tools, banisters, cabinets, cinderblocks, bricks, flooring, hardware, lights/lamps, shingles (full packs) tiles, wallpaper, and windows.
