| Purpose | To provide information and education in the areas of food and nutrition, healthy lifestyles, safe food preservation and food safety. |
| Service | "Educating People to Help Themselves" is the mission of Maryland Extension. Educational programs, newsletters, and web pages are available by contacting an Extension educator. Classes can be scheduled for groups of parents, youth, educators and/or others in the community. Please check the Internet site for additional classes that are offered in local communities and businesses. |
