Purpose | To educate the public about how alcohol abuse damages the body mentally, physically, and psychologically, and to highlight the billions of dollars society spends each year on treating alcoholism. |
Service | Offers presentations to schools and other organizations, which include printed materials and personal accounts to help educate young people about the dangers of alcohol abuse. Presentations also include use of Drunk Busters Impairment Goggles, which simulate the effects of intoxication. The foundation accepts student workers through the Volunteer Community Service Program. Regular meetings are from 1 to 3 pm on Saturday; call for location. |
Eligibility | Anyone willing to help the community is welcome to attend. |
Fees | Donations are always welcome. |
Ages Served | Serves all ages, but focuses primarily on youth. |
Area Served | Serves Carroll, Baltimore, Frederick and Howard counties. |
