| Purpose | The Taneytown Economic Development Department focuses on business attraction, business retention and expansion, and workforce development within the corporate boundaries of the City of Taneytown. |
| Service | The Taneytown Economic Development Department maintains and distributes a list of available commercial properties; responds to site selection inquiries and seeks out potential new businesses; offers a variety of grants, incentives, and other support to new and existing businesses; facilitates connections between Taneytown business operators and regional and state partners; and works to ensure a qualified workforce for employers in the City of Taneytown. |
