| Purpose | The Catholic Church: A 2,000+ year old mission of faith. Established in 1853, the Catholic Parish of St. John in Westminster proclaims the loving presence of God to all. We place ourselves concretely at the service of the Kingdom of God above all by announcing and communicating the Gospel of salvation. We strive to constitute the very heart of Catholic social teaching: the dignity of the human person and the principal of the common good. We acknowledge the centrality of the family as underlined by Sacred Scripture. We celebrate the Sacred Liturgy with joy and we encourage all to share his/her gifts and talents in service to God, to our parish family and to the community overall. We welcome all with love and fellowship. |
| Service | Weekend Masses: Saturday 4:30 pm; Sunday 7:00 am, 9:00 am, 11:00 am, 1 pm (Spanish), and 6:00 pm. Weekday Masses : Monday through Friday at 7:00 am and 9:00 am (followed by the praying of the Rosary), and Saturday 9:00 am. Divine Mercy Chaplet every Thursday at 3:00 pm. First Friday devotion at 7:00 pm . Perpetual Adoration Chapel 24/7 located in the parish center. Religious Education/Faith Formation classes for students in grades Pre-K through 8.
