| Purpose | To provide an outstanding preschool experience for ages 2 to 5. |
| Service | The school holds accreditation through the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE). We are one of only a few programs in the state of Maryland to hold this dual accreditation. We have a level five rating in the Maryland EXCELS quality rating system. Two and three day programs are available for two-year-olds (potty training not required). The three day program meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and these classes run from 9 to 11:30 am and 12:30 to 3 pm. Two-day and three-day programs are available for three-year-olds. In the two-day program, students meet on Tuesday and Thursday from 9 to 12:00 pm or 9 am to 3 pm; for the three-day program, students meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 to 11:30 am and 12:30 to 3 pm. Prekindergarten Fours also meet either two or three days each week. The two-day program is on Tuesday and Thursday from 9 am to 3 pm; the three-day program is on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from either 9 to 12:00 pm, 12:30 to 3:30 pm or 9 am to 3 pm. St. James offers a vibrant program including enriching daily activities, enrichment experiences, and special days and events for families. |
