Purpose	To provide support, resources, and education to families of children with autism, as well as those who provide services to such families in Carroll County.
Service	Meetings are from 6:30 to 8:30 pm the third Thursday of each month from September to June at CHANGE, Inc., 115 Stoner Avenue, Westminster. Social gatherings are held in January, July/August, September and December. Child care is provided at no cost by trained adults on a limited, pre-arranged basis; please call for details. At each meeting, there is an information/resource table, a lending library from Partners for Success, and a hospitality table. Meetings are relaxed, informal, and fun, and may feature a speaker, a video, sharing relevant information, and/or having a social activity. Annual social activities include a game night in January, an open house to recognize April as Autism Awareness Month, a family picnic in July/August, an ice cream social in September, a Fall visit to a pumpkin patch, and a holiday pizza party in December.
Eligibility	Unless otherwise indicated, monthly meetings are open to families of individuals with autism, and those who want to learn more about the disability.
