| To stimulate a love of gardening; to aid in the conservation of forests, shrubs, wild flowers, and birds; to develop the aesthetic abilities of members in their use of flowers, and to foster civic improvement. |
| Decorates historical houses in Carroll County; participates in projects at the senior citizen centers; encourages young gardeners; trades and shares plants and materials, and arranges flowers for several Carroll County houses on the Maryland House and Garden Pilgrimage Tour. Some members are currently working on the new gardens at the Historical Society of Carroll County. Meetings are usually at 12:30 pm the first Wednesday of each month at the Union Bridge Community Center, 4770 Ladiesburg Road, Union Bridge. In June, July and August, members meet in a local garden. There is no meeting in January. |
