| To provide education about outdoor activities and the environment to Carroll County students. |
| Carroll County students attend Outdoor School, located at Camp Hashawha, for one week during their sixth-grade year. Opportunities to learn about maintaining community, backyard, and school habitats are also offered at the camp and through grants to individual schools. Education about composting, recycling, and environmental preservation is also stressed. Student service opportunities are also available. |
