| To provide ecumenical fellowship and shared community ministries including ecumenical worship, religious education, and community service. |
| Comprised of clergy and lay persons representing ten congregations in the Taneytown/Northwest Carroll area. Meetings are 7 pm, third Monday of each month with locations rotating among member congregations. Sponsors a community Vacation Bible School and ecumenical worship for events such as Lent, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. A free, weekly meal, Carpenter's Table, is served at 11:30 am each Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 44 Frederick Street, Taneytown. In addition, Mission of Mercy van sees patients at Taneytown Baptist Church,4150 Sells Mill Road, the second Wednesday of each month, starting at 8:30 am. The group also relates to and supports other community ministries, including a local food pantry and St. Joseph's Clothing Ministry. Limited funds are available for persons and families in the Taneytown area experiencing emergency needs; requests are managed through Human Services Programs of Carroll County.
