| To encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise, to promote high ethical standards in business, and to advance international understanding, goodwill, and peace. |
| Grants college scholarships to outstanding high school seniors. Also contributes to community projects such as parks, playgrounds, Carroll Community College, Rebuilding Together with Christmas in April, Equa-Dent, Carroll Hospital Center, Change, Carroll Hospice, Meals-on-Wheels, Babe Ruth League, YMCA, Shepherd's Staff Back to School Program, and McDaniel College. Also founded the Carroll County Sports Hall of Fame, and conducts an annual golf tournament, which is co-sponsored by a local community project. Meetings are 11:45 am Wednesday at Johannson's Restaurant in downtown Westminster. |
