| To provide a college-owned golf course consisting of 9 holes played twice, par 66, 4156 yards. |
| The official season is March through November; play continues, weather permitting, through the winter months. Course may be closed for college-sponsored activities, such as the annual McDaniel Invitational Golf Tournament. Golfers enter the course and club house at 207 Pennsylvania Avenue, Westminster. Riding carts, pull carts, right- and left-handed clubs, and bags are available for rental, and snacks and soft drinks may be purchased. The course also has a discount Pro Shop. One must register prior to teeing off; play begins on #1 tee. Monitors are on the course to check play. Each golfer must have his/her set clubs; wear golf shoes or other acceptable type of footwear. No practice allowed on course. Practice green next to #1 tee with sand trap. US Golf Association rules govern play. Private lessons and golf school are available. Cart fees: $12 for one person, $18 for two. |
